Fountain Valley California Museums
Students are welcomed at the Fountain Valley California Museum of Natural History at the University of California, San Francisco campus in San Diego.
Huntington Reservation is located in Bay Village on the shores of Lake Erie, and the picturesque Huntington Beach bike path runs through the park with scenic views of the city of Huntington, the Huntington River and Lake Huron. This Orange County museum has a collection of more than 1,000 artworks from around the world, and the collection includes works by artists from across the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa.
It is currently one of the largest California art collections in the United States and the second largest of its kind in California.
The museum, funded by Joan Irvine Smith, is free to visit and features all of the current exhibits from across California. Fountain Valley events include the annual Fountain Valley Tree Lighting, which takes place on Saturday, May 4, 5-7 p.m. at Mile Square Park. The Fountain Tree Lighting is one of the most popular events in the city's annual Christmas season.
