Hmmmmm, I look younger than my age and yet I have earned each year of my life building some level of wisdom (I hope). My strong intuition and observation of others helps me size up others fairly quickly. I am a good judge of character and tend to people watch. My Masters is in psychology and have done a fair amount of counseling. I am sensitive to others and pick up the subtle cues. Laughing at at myself is easy and exchanges of wit are a treat. I love gazing at the countryside, taking pictures, harmonizing, dancing swing (or any dance for that matter), shopping, helping others do whatever is needed and my granddaughter, of course. I am stylish and take care of my looks... I do read quite a bit and I am on the computer too much. Whatever did we do before they were so much a part of our lives? I love to laugh and joke, and try not to take myself too seriously. Having a sense of humor is everything, being playful and finding the joy in life are very important to me.

I am transsexual (MtF; this does NOT mean I'm "really a guy," or that you have the right to ask disturbing, invasive or explicit questions about my body or sex life without permission), a nerd with strange opinions (Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings: all enjoyable and important, all a bit overrated in their own ways), and a reasonably competent writer. I am somewhat on the tall side, slightly on the heavy side, and pretty butch, except for when I'm not (which is sometimes frequently and sometimes rarely, especially depending on the company I'm with). I am a self-identified gamer, although I find myself playing video games less than often lately because most of them are letdowns. I sound a lot less formal in real life, but this is how I tend to write.

As to being trans, since this is ostensibly a dating site it's important to mention that at present I am entirely physically and hormonally male (though I plan to change that as soon as possible), although apparently I can be pretty feminine.

Though this is a relatively recent realization, I seem to be polyamorous. What this means, in short, is that while I have no strong "need" or "desire" to be in either a multiple-partner relationship or multiple separate relationships at once, I am open to the idea, and perhaps most importantly, I just like too many people, and the idea that "choosing" one could render me permanently separated from any others is horrifying and unacceptable.

It should also be stated up front that I have anxiety issues that can, depending on the occasion, range from irritating to crippling. I also have a hard time trusting people on any meaningful level; life has taught me that counting on someone not to cause you harm (in any sense, and no matter who they are) is a great way to get hurt and hurt badly. I believe that being traitors at heart is perhaps the one thing (apart from, naturally, the capacity for hatred and selfishness) that all human beings have in common, and I am sure that I am not exempt from this, though I try my best to prove otherwise. I am not a particularly optimistic person, and I also have a tendency to create convoluted paragraphs with peculiar grammar and lots of parenthesis. But you should know both those things by now.

First off, typing or even talking about myself isn't a strong point of mine. A few months ago I got out of a LTR and now its time to move on. I recently graduated from business and lived abroad for the past year. I had an amazing time traveling the world and getting to know people from all over the world. I moved back to SoCal about 2 months ago and getting adjusted to life in the states again. Love hanging out with my friends and family. I'm a pretty down to earth kind of person. I see the positive side of things and I love to laugh. I tend to be shy at first but once the ice is broken, my personality really comes out. I'm a dork and a kid at heart but take my responsibilities and relationships very seriously.

First things first, the extreme close up picks are kinda creepy! I know I'm not alone on that, am I. Second, this "easy going, up for anything" cliche is way over done, don't you think. Put a little spice in your life try to not be a sheep your whole life , try being a lemming, they really don't follow each other to their death, just one of many of my fun facts you can call it. I'm a single dad of a beautiful 2 year old daughter. My daughter is my life and comes second to no one. I'm quirky, funny, brash, sometimes an ass, or so i've been told. i live on a tangent cause i can never stay on one subject for very long, too much to say with out a lot of time. i'm ur a typical computer geek with a twisted side. i can be found comfortably on a couch veggin out of in a tattoo chair for a couple hours. pain and i have become intimate partners since i broke my back about a year and a half ago and i swear to god if u tell me child birth is more painful then spinal fusion i will never talk to u again. i don't hav time to always spell correctly or be perfect on my grammar but u'll always get the jist if ur clever enough to keep up. i can hav an hour long conversation in minutes and minute conversations turn into hours. sometimes i talk in rhymes, it's what i do from time to time. i could go on for days like this. anything else you wanna know go ahead and ask, i don't scare easy.

Hi, well the name fallen angel is not a " I am this angel of coolness" at all, but a choice of a love for film. "Fallen Angel's" Wong Kar-Wai's 1995 'sequel' to "Chungking Express" is a movie that is quite awesome! I am kind-hearted, mellow , passionate, and patient.
On the other side of the coin, I can be darkly witty, unpredictable, offhanded, and impatient to close mind's that put there will's on others.
I do have this dark humor view of life with and air of understanding that make me a big people watcher, there fascinating!

Being content and happy is a choice we all make. Every day brings the opportunity for new experiences. Tolerance of others is key; you do your thing, I'll do mine, and the world keeps spinning! I love a good movie (almost any kind), seeing a good band, museums, anything that stimulates thought. I enjoy making people laugh (including myself), it's absolutely essential. Wow...where to start?

I'm a writer and photographer. I wrench on a web site for a living, creating and posting content, and I call it jobstyle. Part job, part lifestyle. I cover a couple different two-wheeled racing series around the U.S.A., and occasionally travel overseas for races as well. That's the good news *and* the bad news. See, in January through September, I travel about 30 weekends out of the year, which means while most people are playing (weekends), that's when I'm at my busiest...but it also doesn't slow down much after that. There are bits of work nearly seven days a week. (I try and throw in some breaks, but sometimes they're hard to come by.) That makes it hard to maintain a regular relationship, or start a new one.

There are times when I like being solo...and definitely times where I don't. I'm pretty quiet and mellow. I believe in treating people how I'd like to be treated, and in karma. I generally try to do the right thing in any situation.

I feel like I'm on the verge of starting another life. Divorcing after 15 years of marriage. I guess it's a time to take stock of what I like about myself and keep on building there; and finding what I don't like, and wrenching on it to make it better. I'm also looking forward to focusing on the things that make me truly happy, and finding forgotten and new happy items.

Hello out there. I am a happy person who likes to listen to records and read good books. When not doing that I cook or work. I partied a lot when I was younger and am just not into it almost at all now. I work for a symphony orchestra and hope sometime in the not too crazy distant future (5 years maybe?) to open a restaurant or catering company. I play in bands and write/record music in my free time. Playing music used to be a lot more serious, but...well...has not worked out as initially planned. Now it is more of a passionate hobby. I'm also, semi-passively, working on video art stuff that I plan to start submitting to galleries in the not too distant future.

I used to run a small record label. It was fun...until it wasn't.

I dislike bonfires at the beach, but love campfires in the mountains.

To sum me up is pretty simple: I am a pretty average, somewhat boring guy. I work during the week and for fun I like to play with my dogs, walk my dogs, watch tv, and occasionally go out to the movies, usually by myself. I am quite a nerd/geek though, so that helps a little I guess :)

I'm interested in what's happening all over the world (not just Afghanistan and the Middle East), what Obama has to say, learning cool stuff like there's volcanoes under Antarctica's ice sheets, and, in general, what life is like for others (I really enjoy listening to auto/biographies). Also, I try my hardest to dodge the BS side of the media which makes my ears bleed (Example: Levi Johnson is posing for Playgirl. Seriously? This is something someone with a microphone feels the people want to know? Yes, if I heard Jennifer Connelly or Maggie Gyllenhaal is in Playboy, I'd be more interested but it's not worth putting in the news. Well, now that Jennifer and Maggie were brought up, maybe it is. :) ). Also, I try to be as well-rounded as I can when it comes to music, food, art, film, other peoples' cultures, and life overall. It seems like such a waist, most of the time, if I decide to not do or learn something because, "That's too weird, I don't think that's for me". My goal is to keep myself healthy and out of jail but I'd hate to be in my last week of life to realize how awesome Lou Reed is or watching Armin Van Buuren do his thing for the first time (http://www.youtube.com/user/WestOfAustin#p/u/4/wZbBCAKhriM).

My nerves really discount who I am. Either I'm a nervous wreck and my mind comes up with three variations of how I want to ask/answer a question which come out mixed together (It's worse when sugar, carbs, and/or caffeine are involved.) but there's also the flip side when we're both having an eye-locked conversation with body language flowing and we're oblivious to what's going on around us and how many hours have passed. The ladder is who I am. Fortunately, one or two Sailor Jerry and Cokes (yes, I know it's full of sugar) helps.
